"DTG" is the abbreviation for "Direct To Garment". With an inkjet printer connected to the PC, special (mostly water-based) pigment inks are printed directly onto the textile and then durably fixed with heat. The print is pleasantly soft to the touch and has a good wash resistance, bright colors and a high level of detail.
Textiles made of 100% cotton and blended fabrics are particularly suitable. The advantage of textile direct printing (DTG) on the one hand is the flexibility to individually customize textiles. For example, to print with individual names, etc. within a motif, on the other hand, the high level of detail in photorealistic imprints.
